Plascorp imports a wide range of reinforcing bar and mesh. Unlike our competitors, we carry large stocks in all our distribution centres to ensure availability. Reinforcing bar and mesh is often used to increase the structural strength of concrete structures. By creating an inner frame reinforcement, concrete structures can provide a higher level of performance.

All Plascorp reinforcing coils, bar, mesh and trench mesh conforms to Australian standard AS/NZS 4671 and has ACRS accreditation,
our processing facilities are certified to ISO:9001 so you are assured of a quality product each and every time, we also hold the relevant
Main Roads certification.

DEFORMED REINFORCING BAR

Plascorp stock a full range of reinforcement bar from 10mm up to and including 40mm. 10mm is sourced from coil, 12 -24mm is stocked in both 6m and 12m lengths whilst 28 – 40mm is held in 12m lengths. All bar is made to AS/NZS 4671 : 2019 and is ACRS accredited.

Note, weight per metre shown is the theoretical weight as per AS/NZS 4671. Rolling margin will be applied in accordance with tolerance limits as per AS/NZS 4671 clause 7.3.

TIEWIRE

tiewire

Tiewire is ideal for steel fixers and form workers. It is a black, soft tensile wire used for tying reinforcing mesh and bar for the building industry. Tie wire is easily cut and easily manipulated.
It suits most common belt reels.

Tiewire is available in 1.40mm  (held in Perth) and 1.57mm (held in Brisbane) widths in coils of 1.42kg.
